Farewell Mantra

from Diapause by Electroscope

/

about

Our tribute to the lovely Allen Ginsberg, issued on a compilation given away with German magazine Lounge. "He was the man who saw William Blake through hallucinating eyes". We used to play this live quite often; well, by our standards, to play anything live "quite often" meant more than once. We also did a live version of William Burrough's "Apocalypse" but never recorded a tribute to him. John's vocal input to much of our live shows at that time was an ongoing tribute to WSB anyway!

Electroscope Glasgow, UK

Following a decade recording solo as Pefkin and Phosphene, Gayle Brogan and John Cavanagh are back playing pin matrix games for May, combining the sounds of a VCS3 synthesizer, a 1950s radio microphone and vortex of vocals.
