about

Released on pink champagne coloured vinyl and cd on Boa Records. Mail order copies came with a handmade octopus mobile. The sleeve was made of stencilled card with a photo collage, one image between each arm of the swirl. Because large size photo scanners were uncommon at the time, the lp-sized artwork had to be scanned in four parts at Clydeside Press in Glasgow, then assembled for printing.

about

Electroscope Glasgow, UK

Following a decade recording solo as Pefkin and Phosphene, Gayle Brogan and John Cavanagh are back playing pin matrix games for May, combining the sounds of a VCS3 synthesizer, a 1950s radio microphone and vortex of vocals.
