The Blue You Never Knew

from Diapause by Electroscope

/

about

This was recorded for the sadly under-appreciated “See Through But Solid”, one of the most painstakingly packaged releases of all time, on the wonderful Iker Spozio’s label. He requested a “sad song with Gayle singing, like Nico” and we obliged! The title is, of course, a take on “the blue you once knew” from “Astronomy Domine”.

about

Electroscope Glasgow, UK

Following a decade recording solo as Pefkin and Phosphene, Gayle Brogan and John Cavanagh are back playing pin matrix games for May, combining the sounds of a VCS3 synthesizer, a 1950s radio microphone and vortex of vocals.
